Burning is the right word

Summer daytime
Moco doesn’t go for a walk

Moco’s barefooted feet never walked down an asphalt road on a summer afternoon

In the evening
I’m going for a walk with Moco

At the corner of Nonaka-san’s house, turn left, to the right
There’s a warehouse at the plastics factory

On a wooden pallet there

The stray cats is out there
He is always there

He won’t deal with Moco

Just stare

“I’m a stray.”

That’s what he say
Then he lies down and turns his back

The accident happened under his nose *

 

 

ここのところ
暑さ

すごい

猛暑というのか
酷暑というのか

灼熱という言葉が当たっている

夏の昼間
モコは散歩しない

モコの裸足の足が昼のアスファルト道を歩くことはない

夕方
モコと散歩に出かけた

野中さんちの角を左に曲がった右のところにプラスチック工場の倉庫がある

そこの木製のパレットの
上に

野良はいる
いつもいる

野良はモコを相手にしない

じっと
睨んで

“俺は野良だ”

そう言っている

それからゴロリと寝転んで背中をむける
