moco notices the sound of the car and waits at the front door

always
be there

at the front door

when I go out
“I’m going”, hugging moco’s neck and calling out

moco
looking here

when closing the front door
I gently open the door and look into it

I can see moco running

on the golden cushion in front of the Buddhist altar

moco sleeps

always alone
moco

sleeping there

moco sleeps in the thoughts of the deceased

Put out the light before you go to bed *

 
 

夕方
帰ると

玄関にいる

モコは車の音に気づいて玄関で待っている

いつも
いる

玄関にいる

出かけるとき
行ってくるよとモコの首を抱いて声をかける

モコ
こちらを見てる

玄関のドアを閉めるとき
ドアをそっと開けて覗くとモコは

くるりと
走っていくのが見える

仏壇の前の金色の座布団の上で

モコは眠る

いつもひとりのとき
モコは

そこで眠っている

いないひとの思いのなかで眠っている

寝る前に明かりを消しなさい　*
