in the penultimate chapter of the novel
the woman was a love-hotel cleaner

her work is over
she got lost on the snowy road on her way home

she was looking up at the stars on the treetops of the forest

there
was something overflowing

実は

寒かった

午後に
クルマで出掛けて

悪寒がして
帰ってきた

夕方に
帰って

ソファーにいたモコを
見届けて

読みかけの
小説の

最後の二章を二階の部屋で読んだら
もう暗くなってて

モコと
散歩に

行かなかった

小説の最後から二つ目の章で
女はラブホテルの掃除婦をしていた

仕事が終わり
帰りの雪道ではぐれて

女は森の梢の星を見あげてた

そこに
溢れるものがあった
