I’m looking at Shiroyasu Suzuki’s photo book “Hemisphere of Eyebrows”

all the photos in the photobook are taken with a fisheye lens

Mari in Kameido Tenjin
and young Harumi Kawaguchi is in the picture

there is also Hiroshi Watanabe
with his wife

there is also a naked Shiroyasu

in Shiroyasu’s study
he took it with the self-timer

there is also Hossawa Falls in Hinohara Village

water droplets are smoking

“If you shoot with a fisheye lens, it will be the same no matter who shoots it.
That’s what makes me feel better than that.
It’s nice that I don’t have to appear there. ” **

so
Shiroyasu writes in a photobook essay

「眉宇の半球」という
鈴木志郎康さんの写真集を見て

いる

写真集の写真は全て魚眼レンズで撮られている

亀戸天神の
麻理さんや

若い川口晴美さんが写って

いる

渡辺洋さんもいる
奥さんといる

裸体の志郎康さんもいる

自宅の書斎で
セルフタイマーで撮ったのだろう

桧原村の払沢の滝もある

水飛沫が煙って
いる

“魚眼レンズで撮ると、誰が撮っても同じになる。そこがいい、と、
それ以上に素敵だという気分になれる。
わたしがそこに現れないですむのが素敵なのだ。” **

そう
志郎康さんは写真集のエッセイに書いている

ひとりの詩人が
いる
