bulbuls on the tangerines on the windowsill
was already arrived

when I open the shoji inside the window

soon
flew away

bulbul and blue rock thrush are different birds

bulbul is a little big bird
with a rattling voice

cry

blue rock thrush singed like a jewel in the spring

his back is blue from his neck
he sings with red chest

I saw him in a port town
blue rock thrush was flying like a bullet

he seemed to be in a hurry
he also seemed to be waiting for something

来ていた

窓の内側の障子を開けると
すぐに

飛び去った

ヒヨドリと
イソヒヨドリは

別の鳥です

ヒヨドリはやや大きな鳥で
ガラガラの声で

鳴いた

イソヒヨドリは春には玉の声で歌う

彼は

首から背中が青く
赤い胸で

鳴く

港町で見かけた
イソヒヨドリは弾丸のように飛んでいた

彼は急いでいるようだった
彼は待っているようでもあった

at the harbor
listened

that voice
I heard it by the window

even in the port town
even at the beach park

I have listened

it came to the tangerine on the windowsill

surely
it is coming

in spring
with a jewel-like voice

calling a female

blue bird
blue rock thrush

there is a small mountain to the west of the port town
in the middle

there is a tangerine field

港で
聴いた

あの声を
窓辺で聴いた

港町でも
海浜公園でも

聴いたことがある

窓辺の蜜柑に来てくれた

確かに
来ている

春になると
玉の声で

雌を呼んでいる

青い鳥
イソヒヨドリよ

港町の西には小高い山があり
中腹に

蜜柑畑がひろがっている

like rain

this morning

when I open the window
the top of the west mountains is surrounded by white clouds

for tangerines on the windowsill
the pair of bulbuls have come

they flew away

also today

yesterday too
the day before yesterday too

I didn’t see the sea

“The snow on the road has already melted”

my sister
she was saying on the phone

in the movie “It must be heaven”

on the way
I fell asleep

how did it

carrying sin
did that person die

窓を
開けると

西の山の頂は白い雲に包まれている

窓辺の蜜柑に
つがいのヒヨドリたちは来た

飛んでいった

今日も

昨日も
一昨日も

海を見なかった

“もう道路の雪は溶けたよ”

姉は
電話で言っていた

“天国にちがいない” という映画では

途中
眠ってしまった

どうなのかな

罪を背負って

あの人は
逝ったのか

there was a road in the forest and white lilies were in bloom.
it smelled like a lily

I’ve been walking

morning
along the river

I walked to the estuary

I met stray cats

the sun was rising high above the peninsula

on the west mountains
there was a big white cloud

for tangerines on the windowsill

yet
white-eyes have not come

to the sign
because they fly away

be quiet
waiting

Turn off the radio *

歩いてきた

朝
川沿いを

河口まで歩いてきた

ノラたちに
会った

半島の上に朝日は高く昇っていた

西の山の上に
白い大きな雲がいた

窓辺の蜜柑に

まだ
メジロたちはきていない

気配に
飛び去ってしまうから

静かに
待っている

it was raining

it was raining hard

on the windowsill
neither white-eye nor bulbul came

I couldn’t see the west mountains
rain clouds fell and wrapped around the port town

is the west mountains about 500 meters above sea level
there seems to be a big hawk

someday
photographers had come to shoot in “Collapse”

the big hawk will fly

will fly high
will turn

朝から
雨だった

強く降っていた

窓辺に
メジロも

ヒヨドリも来なかった

西の山は見えなかった
雨雲が降りて港町をつつんでいた

西の山は海抜500メートルくらいか
大鷹がいるらしい

いつか
カメラマンたちが

大崩れに撮影に来ていたことがあった

大鷹は
飛ぶだろう

高く飛ぶだろう
旋回するだろう

afternoon

I talked to my old sister in Akita on the phone

“already”
“the snow on the road has disappeared”

“it’s sunny today”
“ate lunch with my friends”

so
my old sister said

her husband is gone
the dog also died

her child went out to the city

she lives with a cat
she said she was up at 4am and shoveling snow

it was snowing
it is snowing

Snow is falling thick and fast *

午後

秋田の姉と電話で話した

もう
道路は

雪が消えたよ

今日は晴れて
友達とランチを食べてきたの

そう
言った

義兄は逝き
犬も死んだ

子どもは都会に出た

姉は猫と暮らしている
朝4時に起きて雪かきをしていると言ってた

雪が降っていた
雪は降っている

white-eye was beaking the tangerine at the tip of the driftwood branch on the windowsill

green body
the area around her eyes is white

cute

when I was 18

I was reading a poem by Junzaburo Nishiwaki at Sakurajosui’s apartment
it was the poem “eggplant”

“Apollon” **

“Human feces”

and
a few years later

I met “Puapua” in Higashi-Nakano

“Grotmantica” ***
“Grotmantica”

今朝も

来てくれた

朝から
雨は降っていた

散歩に行かなかった

あのヒト
どうしているのかな

雨の庭の枯れた草木を見ているのか

今朝も
来てくれた

窓辺の流木の枝の先の蜜柑をメジロは啄ばんでた

緑のからだで
眼のまわりを白くして

いて
可愛いな

18の頃

桜上水のアパートで西脇順三郎の詩を読んでた
“茄子”という詩だった

そして
数年後に

東中野で”プアプア”に会った

this morning too
I walked to the estuary

there were stray cats
the morning sun was on the peninsula

gone home

with moco
I saw off the woman

then
I ate chinese porridge made by the woman

chopped green onions and ginger
I mixed it with sesame oil and soy sauce and put it on porridge

I ate

in the study
when I open the window

on the windowsill
tangerine is stuck at the tip of a driftwood branch picked up on the beach

this morning
white-eye came

beak a little
flew immediately

when I open the window
there is a west mountains

always there

I have never climbed the west mountains

The higher up you go, the colder it becomes *

今朝も
河口まで

歩いた

ノラたちがいた
朝日が半島の上にいた

帰って
モコと

女が出かけるのを
見送った

それから
女が作ってくれた中華粥を食べた

ネギと生姜が刻んであり
胡麻油と醤油で和えて粥にのせていただいた

本のある部屋の
窓を開けると

窓辺には
浜辺で拾った流木の枝の先に蜜柑が刺してある

今朝は
メジロが来てくれた

少し啄ばんで
すぐに飛んでいった

窓を開けると西の山はいる

いつもそこに
いる

西の山に登ったことはない
