I’m listening to Yuji Takahashi’s “elegy” **

the sun is
blocked by clouds

that person said

“Poetry seems to be by the side and is the core of life.”

I have that word in my heart

looking at the west mountains
I don’t think words can be the west mountains

looking at the sea
I don’t think words can be the water of the sea

many people have died

the life left is
following the dream river of the dead

when washing my face with lavender soap
when I smell the scent of soap

when the west mountains look gray
when the west mountains look blue
when ithe west mountains look ultramarine blue

when moco wakes up sleepy

when I see the woman brushing her teeth with a boring face

when I watering the princess apple and the fragrant olive the nandin at the entrance

when taking a walk on the beach with moco
when I see stray cats

when I see the sea water sway

in the blue sky
when I see the white clouds

when the wind blows

evening

when I take a bath with the mandarin orange peel
